Carlo joined PGE, the Urban Theory Lab, and the Committee on Geographical Sciences in 2021 after two years as program assistant at the Chicago Center for Contemporary Theory (3CT) and production supervisor at the Chicago Philharmonic. Prior to that, he served as production coordinator for Make Music Chicago and Rush Hour Concerts at the International Music Foundation.
Carlo is also the founder and artistic director of the experimental baroque orchestra Stile Nu and a PhD candidate in music at Leiden University (NL) and the Orpheus Institute (BE). He holds an MM from the Conservatory of Amsterdam and a BM from Northwestern University.
